Djarragun College is seeking a passionate, motivated, and innovative Marketing and Publics Relations Manager to join our committed team in the unique and picturesque region of Gordonvale, just 20 minutes south of Cairns.
Djarragun College is a co-educational Indigenous school with 330 students from Prep to Year 12. There are approximately 70 boarding students with girls and boys residing in separate boarding houses on site. The College is situated on a large campus with outstanding facilities such as a pool, Olympic standard gymnasium, several basketball courts, hospitality and trade trading centres and three large rugby ovals.
The Marketing and Public Relations Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The role is focused on promoting Djarragun College to existing, prospective and wider communities and enrolling prospective students and families into the School. The role also encompasses a high degree of relationship building particularly with current parents, staff and students and the local community.
The successful applicant must be sympathetic to the ethos of independent schools and provide a current Blue Card as cleared. A Degree in marketing or public relations or equivalent experience.
